         •    Best State Teacher Award by Govt of AndhraPradesh in 2011

•    Distinguished Academician award by “Pentagram Research centre Private Limited”.

•    Administrative experience as Principal, Director Admissions, Director School of Distance Education, Head of  CSE         Department,  Convener of PG Admissions

•    Guided 28 Ph.D Scholars in Computer Science and Engineering and at present 5 Ph.D Students are pursuing research

•    Published more than 135 research papers in the filed of computer science and engineering in reputed  International, National Journals and Conferences

•    Editorial Board Member for three Journals which are  Computer Science and Engineering related.

•    Visited USA, China, Sweden and Germany as an Expert member in the JNT University team for the collaborative programs.

•    Presented papers in International Conferences at USA, Taiwan.

•    Interacted  with National and State level policy bodies like UGC, AICTE, APSCHE. 

•    Participated in all major universities viz.,  OU, AU, JNTU, JNU, SVU, ANU, BRAOU, SATHAVAHANA, Adikavi Nannaya University in either policy making or curriculum development.

•    Acted as subject expert, nominated as member of selection committee of DRDL, RCI and other Defense organizations.

•    Acted as Subject Expert, Scrutiny committee member, and as Evaluator for State Level common entrance tests.

•    Fellow of Institute of Engineers, IETE, Member of IEEE, Life member of ISTE, and CSI.

6. Presently Dr A. Vinaya Babu is associated with Methodist Group of Institutions : Stanley College of Engineering and Technology for Women ( SCETW ), Methodist college of Engineering & Technology and Indur institute of Engineering & Technology, Siddipet as Director Academic and planning. Achieved NBA Accreditaion to all programmes successfully in SCETW.
